Bhuteshwar Mahadev trek is one of the oldest treks in Jaipur. Many senior citizens vouch for having been on this trek many times. They say this is one of the most popular treks from their heydays. These days not many people use this trekking route in Jaipur ratherHathuni Kund is more popular. Here are pictures from Trek to Bhuteshwar Mahadev. Some people write it as Bhooteshwar Mahadev Temple instead of Bhuteswar Mahadev Temple. Jaipur Hiking Club undertook this trek in Jaipur a few years ago. The trek starts in Amer town. The trek can be started from Mahadev Shiv mandir or Jati ke Balaji temple. You can park your car near Sagar lake. These are mobile pictures.

Duration- Trekking to Bhuteshwar Mahadev Temple will take approximately 40-60 minutes one way. The whole path is not clearly marked. You will encounter loose stones and thorns so gear accordingly.
25 August 2019. We took the road from Nahargarh animal sanctuary. It’s very green in August though quite humid. The walking trail is good.. about 4 kms to the temple. The temple itself was disappointing. Though the Shivling is large and beautiful.. temple has claustrophobic walls around it and not maintained. Good walk though.

We are glad you enjoyed this trek. The temple also functions as a residential place. Certainly, this can be maintained in a better manner.
